Overview

 
We have an immediate opening for a Front Desk Dental Insurance Coordinator at Jupiter Dental Group in Jupiter, FL. The Insurance Coordinator will work at the front desk and must be a team player and have a positive attitude with exceptional multi-tasking abilities. The candidate for this position must have 3-4 year' experience working with verifying different types of dental insurance plans (HMO's/PPO's). Knowledge of dental terminology is a must. This position will be reviewing patient’s accounts ensuring for accuracy; making phone calls to various dental insurance companies for explanation of reimbursement reasons for payments, over payments, or denials; and adjusting patient accounts due to out of network issues. Candidate must be familiar with insurance processes, dental codes, billing and collections.

Responsibilities

Essential responsibilities include:
 
- Verifying information for accuracy 
- Processing insurance payments and refunds 
- Updating patient information 
- Other duties as required
 
 

Qualifications

Desired Skills:
- MUST be very proficient with data entry 
- MUST have intermediate to advanced Excel experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills 
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications 
- Attention to detail and accuracy 
- Prior dental insurance experience is required
