    Dental Care Alliance, one of the Top 50 growth companies on Florida's Gulf Coast, is hiring a Healthcare Senior Data Analyst at its corporate office located in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. DCA now operates 265 dental offices across 13 states from its corporate headquarters.

    Responsibilities

    JOB SUMMARY:

     

    The Senior Data Analyst will develop expertise in data structure and governance within Dental Care Alliance to develop future-oriented analysis and insights that can be used to formulate business strategy and/or explain drivers of outcomes. He/She will partner with key constituents across the company as well as within his/her team to ensure the analytical needs of the Company are met.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

     

    • Participate in the development of a data governance initiative across Dental Care Alliance functions.
    • Support revenue optimization team in analysis to support recommendations and implementation of changes related to pricing, insurance plan management, fee schedule analysis, alternative payment methodologies, credentialing, discount analysis, and lifetime value.
    • Direct the development of advanced mathematical, statistical, and behavioral economic theories to build models, evaluate risk, and perform analysis to guide the decision making process Identify areas of opportunity from data analysis.
    • Track and document pilot initiatives and help scale across the enterprise if successful.
    • Identify tools, methods, and reporting to expand the analytical competency within Dental Care Alliance.
    • Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis team to quantify and measure revenue opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the field leadership and dental offices to gain alignment prior to implementation of initiatives.
    • Develop consumer-centric reporting capabilities to assess impact on oral health experience for our patients.

     

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED CREDINTIALS/SKILLS:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, business, actuarial science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
    • 5 years of experience in similar position
    • Knowledge of the healthcare/dental industry or dental insurance industry a plus
    • Strong technical and analytical expertise
    • Must be able to demonstrate advanced proficiencies in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and SQL Studio and SQL Reporting Tools as well as any tool the Microsoft Office Suite Version 2010 or higher.
    • Must have a working knowledge of relational databases and creating and managing databases through the use of ODBC connectivity, text or CSV data imports, as well as XML and HL7 data formats.
    • Must have experience working with financial and operational data and have a working understand of report formatting and data dissemination and presentations.
    • Problem solver with intellectual curiosity that will determine the best tools to use for promoting data-driven decision making personally demonstrating strong self-management qualities and characteristics.
    • Excellent communication / presentation skills and ability to develop relationships with various constituent groups

    • Elements increasing success in this position will include experience using algorithms to refine data to answer questions.
    • Advanced proficiencies with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint to present data to different audiences
    • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, work relatively independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
